Re: 2 cents worth and Argyll Sinclairs

Hi Toni,

Thanks for the reply... Elizabeth probably stayed with her Aunts and Uncles while in Canada.... so the common link would be with her grandparents, (James Sinclair's parents), whom I haven't been able to identify. Apparently my branch of the Sinclairs came to Bushmills some time in mid nineteenth century, for there seem to be no Sinclairs there earlier, (at least based on grave yard records)... I'm going to take a look at land records next month when my wife and I (and my sister and her husband) visit Ireland so maybe we'll discover more...

My address is:

Joe Erkes
12 N. Lyon Avenue,
Menands, NY 12204

You didn't mention whether you were interested in the Daub (Irish Sinclairs) genealogy. I'll send you a copy if you like... It too is in paper form, for although I have a scanner, I've been too busy to scan it. Sending all those bit maps over the internet would be "fun" as well, so I'd have to OCR it..... maybe after I retire...

Best Regards,

Joe

I will be happy to photocopy these pages and snail mail to you, if you don't mind sending me your postal address. I don't have a scanner or anything fancy to send them by email.
