>Dear Tania:

I am descended from the a branch of Caithness Sinclairs, but started a
very good exchange with a pen-pal in Fremantle, W.A., whose ancestors were
from Shetland.  In the course of this friendship, she gave me all of the
information she had on her Sinclairs, and I entered it in a new section of
my Geneology program called RootsV.  Also, in my work as a Commissioner for
the Clan Sinclair, U. S. A. I had occasion to talk to many Sinclairs all
over the Western states and found one not far from my home who had Sinclair
roots in N.Z., in turn stemming from Shetlant.

I would like to turn you over to my friend Val Sinclair-Stewart in
Australia, but I need to get her OK to give you her data.  Perhaps you would
like to contact her in person.  Let me know and I will play go-between.  I
might have some data on a Sinclair-Laurenson family in Welington that could
prove interesting.  Let me know at coqnord@goldstate.net
