Thanks, Jane.
The cardiologist said Bill was the luckiest man alive as they can find
absolutely no damage to the heart from the attack. They attribute it to
the aspirin a day he has taken with me and the fact that he is an EMT
instructor and was at the emergency room within 5 minutes of the first
aching in the arms. They were able to dissolve enough to keep the heart
alive. He had the three bypasses yesterday and was alert enough by 8 last
night to stick his tongue out at me (couldn't talk because of the
respirator tube.) The tube is out and we had a good visit this AM before I
came home to take care of business. I am staying in Corpus the rest of the
week as the 2 hr drive every day was getting to me.

We are looking forward to our 50th and I know Bill will enjoy your email.
Again, Thanks.
Jean
