Dear Jenny,

If you have reason to believe that your ancestors were Freemasons you should
think about writing to:

Grand Secretary,
The Grand Lodge of Scotland,
96 George Street,
Edinburgh,
Scotland,
EH2 3DH.

The membership records begin in 1598 in a 'patchy' form but are much fuller
from 1736 when the Grand Lodge of Scotland was founded.
