I just answered you but it disappeared so hope this is not a repitition.
I checked the family of George & Ann when you first contacted me and they
did not have a son William - nor did they remain in Virginia or West
Virginia.  He joined the Army and bounced all over.  Kids died in Dakota
Territory, Oregon & Ohio.  It is well documented.  Sorry.  I just received
an email from a man who descends from one of our branches in Virginia that I
have no information on.  I was able to tell him his descendancy and
hopefully he will share what he has on that branch.  If he does and there is
a William I will let you know immediately.
