My SINCLAIR family left Bothwell Parish, Lanarkshire for Pennsylvania in 1881. They arrived in Lanarkshire a few decades before and spent several generations in Kilsyth, Stirlingshire, about 1675 to 1820. Interested in contacting other Kilysth Sinclairs and wonder where this branch would have originated. I have some reason to suspect my ancestor THOMAS SINKLAR came from Dunbar, East Lothian to Kilsyth by 1675.
