John BERDAN (b. New York 16 dec 1798 - d. Toledo, OH 11 oct 1841)
married Pamela Freese ( ??  - ?? ) on 27 apr 1820
First mayor of Toledo in 1837
Owner of the Berdan Co. , in business from 1836 until 1936. 
In 1936, this business was purchased by Lee Cady of Detroit.

John BERDAN II - (b. ?? - died 1902) - son of John BERDAN and ?? 
married Mary or Victoria Sinclair ( ?? - ?? )
John Berdan II was engineer for bridges for railroads.
They resided at 227 Superior Street in Toledo, OH. 
They had one child : SINCLAIR BERDAN
