Maybe I've got them backwards. The one I can read begins:

In the Fjaere Kirke close to modern Grimstad, Southern Norway there is a
plaque celebrating the church's connections with the 850<SUP>th</SUP>
Anniversary (in 1987) of the founding of St Magnus Cathedral in
Kirkwall, Orkney.
