I am sharing this because I know it goes into our  list  archives.

Ran across a remarkable census project, with what appears to be a
completed index for 1870 Jefferson County, Illinois.

The two leads are as follows:

Sinclair 55, 56, 57
Sincler 27

The numbers are page numbers, I believe, and
refer to Elk Priarie Township and Rome Township.
