    I don't feel as though Americans enoble tyrannical, plundering,
liars, but they do, sadly, respect men who acchieve grand
accomplishments in a rather Machiavellian manner .  That is the way in
which I was referring to Columbus as an American hero.  Unfortunately, I
was never informed of Prince Henry's Voyage in my history classes.  Was
the Zeno Narrative published before Columbus sailed to America?
