Hitchhiking Sinclairs

Is anyone on the list related to the 4 Sinclair children who hitchhiked from 
Colorado to the east coast?  On Thursday I watched as a group of "kids", with 
overloaded backpacks, took photos of each other in front of my restaurant, 
Sinclair's Cafe in Newark, DE.  On Friday I read about them in our local 
paper and I can't believe they didn't come in and say Hi!  (I would have 
given them something to eat and drink!)  
I left the article at work but I seem to remember that the parents names are 
David and Barbara Sinclair from Oregon...
