Dear Francine,

I will pass your thanks and your thoughts to Andrew who, alas, still
prefers
pen and paper for all his communications.  Even
his manuscripts are hand
written which means that a long-suffering typist has to de-cipher
his scrawl
but, at the end of it all, we have, as you say, 'a little jewel' 
which gives us all
a wider and better grasp of history and the essential part which the
Sinclairs
played in that history.
