Lost message

To whom it may concern,

I  rec'd a message this morning that I subsequently lost (the server can
not find it)
(It disappeared as I started to read it - I know not what happened)

I do not know who it came from but it started off like this:

Dear Neil, I hate to tell you this ---- and there was a neat little
paragraph - this is all I know but if anyone on this list sent it I am
sure you will recognize it ;  if so, will you please send it again?
