Le Coq d'Or
Le coq apparat ds l'Antiquit sur des monnaies gauloises. Il devient

Il est surtout utilis l'tranger pour voquer la France, notamment comme
emblme sportif.
Ce n'est pas Royal.
Le Coq d'Or is also an Opera by Nicolas Rimsky-Korsakov . It premiered on

(The rooster appears since antiquity on the Gallic currencies. It becomes
symbol of Gaul and the Gauls following a word game, the term in Latin "
gallus " means rooster at sometimes and Gallic at others.
It is used especially abroad to symbolise France, notably as a sporting
emblem.)
