This absolutly horrible desert wine is produced in the Bordeaux region.
My theory that St Clairs were those barons who guarded
the edges of the Norman Empire is in part given some credence
by looking at the location of different times of the spread of
Normandie,
always there seems to be a town St Clair something or other at the edge.
