    Supposing you were sent this info for the data base
Ferdinand Sinclair b. 1640
m. Mary
son: William Sinclair b. 1680
    m. Mary
their son: Joseph b. 1710
    m. Mary
their dau. Mary b.c. 1732
    m. William Smith

What would be your proceedure to enter this?

The reason that I don't care for entry after 1800 is that history doesn't
interest me much after that and today the families get to be such a mess.
