Outlook Express

1.  From the File menu Choose Tools then Options.

2. Click on the "Send" tab, and make sure that "Plain Text" is checked for the Mail sending format.  It's also best to uncheck the "Reply to messages using the format in which they were sent" option, as this can result in sending back HTML email.

3.  Click OK.
