William Sinclair Bishop of DunkeldFrom: "Privateers" <privateers@privateers.org>Date: Thu, 17 Jun 1999 20:37:47 +0100 I do not know if in famous Sinclairs JSQ would like to include William Sinclair Bishop of Dunkeld who impressed Robert I when as a warrior/Bishop he drove off the English from the Shores of Fife (1316-1317) the King called him "my own Bishop" in the reign of Roberts son William Sinclair changed sides and allied himself with Balliol (Edward Balliol was crowned at Scone 24 September 1332) and Balliol had little choice he sold out to the English.
