There will be an article on Laura Zola's voyage in the Scottish Edition of the Sunday Times tomorrow, 2nd January, 2000.

My trip to Venice surpassed all expectations and confirmed the Zeno Voyage "Beyond Any Shadow of Doubt"

Unlike many researchers, I prefer to do my research on the ground. The meeting with the Zeno family in their Palace (with all the evidence of history, opulence and lineage around me) did far more than browsing through a thousand manuscripts (which, incidentally, they also have).

Six hundred years of history was bridged. Strangely, it felt as if we had known each other forever. There was an immediate rapport. There is now an unbreakable bond of friendship. The warmth between us was tangible. We all glowed with the knowledge that a historic re-union had take place. That history was repeating itself. That this was a meeting which was destined to take place at this time, at this hour at the dawn, of a new Millennium

Laura Zola is now on her way down the Adriatic in her sloop, the "Seven Roses", in order to replicate the Zeno voyage. That, too, seemed to be quite a natural consequence of all the work we have been doing to ensure that Prince Henry Sinclair gets his rightful place in history.

I am no longer surprised by these events. My only surprise is in my own involvement.

Niven
