Archibald Sinclair II's
monument.
(1) Archibald Sinclair
As a mark of respect for our late devoted chairman Archibald Sinclair
Gaelic Printer of Glasgow
A warm hearted Gael, liberal in generosity a true friend and Gaelic scholar
this cross is erected by the Glasgow Islay Association and his friends.
He sleeps soundly--------with his father mother his brother and sisters(?)
In his day he did what he could for the Gaels in Glasgow and Islay
"Praise his works"
He was born May 27, 1850 and died Feb. 1, 1899
